Carl Zeiss Conquest 10x50 binoculars are top-of-the-line, high magnification and large objective lens binoculars which are perfect for use in low-light conditions.
Because of their large 50mm objective lens size, the binoculars let in much more light than that of their smaller brothers and sisters, making them a brilliant pair of binoculars for hunters and anyone intending to use them under the shade of dense trees, early in the morning or later in the evening.
As is expected of most quality modern binoculars, and because of thier intended use, the Conquest 10x50 binoculars are also nitrogen filled which will prevent internal fogging of the lenses due to condensation in changing weather conditions.
In addition, the lenses on these binoculars are coated with Carl Zeiss' advanced "Lotutec" coating. This coating is somewhat similar to that on a plants leaves, in that it allows water/moisture to roll right off the lens as as appose to sticking to it. It also makes them less prone to attracting dirt and grease, although thanks to the coating they are much more easily cleaned if they were to get dirty, and won't smear like regular un-coated lenses would. This is a huge benefit to anyone who anticipates using their binoculars for any outdoor activity in wet, dusty or dirty conditions.
The close focus is a mere 10.5 ft, making these an ideal companion even when you're up close and personal with your viewing subject.
One hugely pleasing thing about the Carl Zeiss Conquest 10x50 binoculars is that despite the large size of their objective lens and high magnification, they're still reasonably compact and very light - weighing in at around 0.9 KG - so they're not as much of a burden to carry around for long periods as you might expect of binoculars made by other lesser quality manufacturers.
